Third-generation contractor working out of Marquette. We dig driveways and foundations, put in septic systems, haul gravel and fill by the truckload, and plow through the winter. Most of our work is within 100 miles of town. We go farther when the job is worth the drive.
We don't sub this work out. The machines and trucks are ours and the crew is on our payroll, so when we give you a start date we can hold it.

Derek Parker is from the Copper Country. His father and grandfather were both in construction, which is where the name comes from, and he has two sons of his own.

Everything on this list is ours. Renting means working around somebody else's calendar, and we would rather work around yours.
The mini excavator matters more than people expect. It fits between a house and a fence, so we can get to a septic line or a foundation without tearing up the whole yard.
Our regular range is about 100 miles from Marquette. That takes in Marquette and Alger counties, down to Escanaba and Iron Mountain, and west through Baraga into the Copper Country. Outside that, ask anyway. We take work all over the U.P. when the job is big enough to be worth the drive.
